Vintage Jewelry Thrift Store Finds

Aren't thrift store finds exciting? Sometimes you hit a gold mine while other times you wish you had stayed home. Heidi tells all about her thrift store finds in her blog, Vacuuming in High Heels and Pearls.

I've personally had a few good finds at garage sales and thrift stores. The bracelet shown here was one of those. It is unsigned except for the paper hang tag which reads "Made in Scotland" on one side and possibly something else on the other but I can't remember at this time. After doing some research, it became apparent that the piece had the construction and style of pieces by the Miracle jewelry company which included a back construction that is just as detailed as the front.

These earrings were another example of a needle in a haystack that came from a flea market in the area. They are coral glass cameos with a brass filigree setting. A thrilled woman bought them from our site to wear on her wedding day.

Have any good thrift store finds to share? I'd love to hear about them!
